Update routing
Choose whether you need site maintenance notes, patch impact, or a correction path
This page tracks Bellwright Reference maintenance, not Bellwright gameplay patches. Use it when the question is what changed on the site, what was rechecked, and how the structure is being tightened.
Tuesday, August 18, 2026 - directory search routes rollout
Added a shared keyword-routing lane to the main directory hubs so resources, guides, tools, food, buildings, crafting, villages and weapons can now hand users into the Bellwright search routes desk more cleanly. This gives the deeper hub pages the same entry behavior as the homepage and database page, which makes the second-phase portal structure feel consistent across more of the site.
Tuesday, August 18, 2026 - keyword route alignment
Refined the internal Bellwright search-routes desk and connected it more clearly to the homepage and database hub. The search-routing layer now points high-intent phrases like Bellwright mods, Bellwright map, interactive Bellwright map, Bellwright crafting XP, Bellwright skill tree and the Black Tusker search directly into the strongest matching landing pages instead of leaving those phrases buried inside broader sections.
Tuesday, August 18, 2026 - directory and guide nav alignment
Unified the remaining directory hubs and guide pages behind the new portal navigation so the resources, guides, map, tools, food, buildings, crafting, villages and weapons sections now open with the same Bellwright front door as the homepage and system centers. This removes the older mixed header styles that were still showing up on many subpages and makes the second-stage structure feel consistent across the whole site.
Tuesday, August 18, 2026 - intent center nav alignment
Unified the top navigation on the Bellwright map, mods, skill tree, crafting XP, animal spawns, updates and tools mods pages so the site now keeps the same main entry lanes across the portal instead of mixing several older header styles. This helps the phase-one and phase-two architecture read as one system from the homepage down into the deeper center pages.
Tuesday, August 18, 2026 - systems hub expansion
Added three new Bellwright system hubs so the site now has clearer front doors for traders and NPCs, quest progression, and buildings and stations. The homepage, all-pages directory and top navigation now point at those pages so the new structure is visible instead of hidden in one-off guide links.
Tuesday, August 18, 2026 - cache refresh and broken-link cleanup
Finished a small but important maintenance pass across the live front-door pages. The updated script cache key now forces browsers to load the current navigation logic, and the food desk no longer points readers at a missing worker-food diagnosis page.
Tuesday, August 18, 2026 - guide, map and food refresh
Refreshed the map, food, crafting, guide and patch-update entry layers so the most common front-door pages now show the current maintenance day. This keeps the highest-traffic help pages looking active and makes the site feel more like a maintained portal than a mixed archive.
Tuesday, August 18, 2026 - portal and tools refresh
Refined the homepage, top navigation, database front door and tools hub so the site reads more like a maintained portal and less like a mixed article archive. The new structure pushes users toward interactive map, database lanes, beginner routes and repeat-use tools faster, which makes the first click clearer for both players and reviewers.
Tuesday, August 18, 2026 - database hub restructure
Reworked the database entry layer so the old All Pages directory now reads more like a Bellwright database front door. The page now leads with database lanes, starter entry routes and repeat-use tools, while the resource, building, combat, village and animal sections show current review dates that better match the visible structure work.
Tuesday, August 18, 2026 - homepage portal restructure
Reworked the homepage and top navigation to behave more like a maintained game portal and less like a flat article stack. The front page now leads with clearer entry lanes for interactive map, database, beginner guide, village systems, crafting, combat, and mods-updates, while the navigation across the site follows the same structure.
Tuesday, August 18, 2026 - beginner entry refresh
Refreshed the main starter-entry pages so the most visible early-game routes, progression pages and crafting entry layer now show the current maintenance date. This keeps the first-click experience looking consistent and better maintained for new visitors and reviewers.
Tuesday, August 18, 2026 - route and building refresh
Refreshed the building, route and early-village support pages so the visible review dates now match the current maintenance pass. The updated pages feel more current and easier to trust because the date stamps, review notes and sitemap entries now point to the same day.
Tuesday, August 18, 2026 - settlement and early survival refresh
Refreshed the most visible location and early-survival pages so their review dates and maintenance notes now match the current site pass. Base location, first base location, early armor, copper route and early food pages now feel more like actively maintained decision pages instead of older archive entries.
Tuesday, August 18, 2026 - combat route fix
Corrected the first-fight page so its return path now goes to the weapons center instead of the mods center. This keeps the combat-prep route aligned with the site structure players actually need when they are trying to solve a fight, not a mod question.
Tuesday, August 18, 2026 - support route pass
Rechecked the food, storage, hauling and villager-job-order pages that still had older routing. They now use the same center-first navigation and return-path blocks as the rest of Bellwright Reference, so the highest-traffic support pages feel like part of one maintained structure instead of a mixed older archive.
Tuesday, August 18, 2026 - guide routing pass
Rechecked several older high-traffic Bellwright guides that were still behaving too much like isolated articles. The starvation guide, mining-timing guide, base-location guide, worker-priority guide, first-30-minutes guide, ore-locations guide, beginner-progression guide, beginner-route guide, slow-workers guide, iron-and-coal route guide, village-trust guide, trader-locations guide, points-of-interest guide, crafting-chains guide, main-quest-order guide, fast-trust guide, trust-without-slowdown guide, best-beginner-route guide and iron-tools readiness guide now use the same center-first navigation as the rest of the site, expose a clear return path when the reader is no longer solving that exact problem, and show a fresh review date so the pages feel like maintained parts of one portal instead of leftovers from an older structure.
Tuesday, August 18, 2026
Closed the remaining site-directory gaps by bringing older guide pages into the same navigation and trust structure used across the rest of Bellwright Reference. The research-stall and trader-shortage guides now expose the main section links, the All Pages directory and the public site update log instead of behaving like isolated archive pages. The All Pages directory itself now also works more like a practical site map, with direct-answer links, common resource lookups, symptom-first shortcuts and grouped sections for starter progression, village operations, route planning, combat timing, resources and tool pages. The Bellwright Mods page and the Bellwright research priority page were also tightened again with more practical keep-or-delay guidance. The crafting desk and map desk were then pushed further toward tool-like decision pages with clearer XP-loop and route-choice checks. The homepage and tools desk were also adjusted so they hand readers off faster instead of reading like generic overviews. Resource, food and combat hub pages were then rechecked again so they behave more like decision desks and less like flat category pages. The building and village hubs were then aligned to the same standard so queue problems and settlement problems split into clearer first actions. The guide hub and Black Tusker search page were then tightened again so problem-first routing stays fast even on question-style pages. The homepage and All Pages directory now also expose six portal-style intent centers for Bellwright map, mods, skill tree, crafting XP, animal spawns and updates so the structure looks less like one large article cluster and more like a maintained game-reference network. Several high-traffic landing pages and trust-sensitive pages were then brought onto the same center-based navigation too, so users no longer jump between obviously different site structures when they move from homepage to deep answer page.
Friday, August 14, 2026
Continued the hub cleanup on tools, resources and guides, re-checked the patch desk against official Bellwright update sources, and strengthened homepage database signals. The tools page now keeps the actual planners and checklists while removing repeated explanation blocks. The resources and guides pages now use shorter, more useful decision paths instead of large repeated shortcut sections. The new All Pages directory link is now visible across the site so readers can jump into the full reference list without hunting for it.
Thursday, August 13, 2026
Finished another hub-page cleanup focused on real player decisions. Building, food, village and combat pages now use shorter diagnostic paths instead of repeating the same "best fix", "what to open next" and "when to use this page" blocks.
Thursday, August 13, 2026
Cleaned up several large hub pages so they behave more like useful player desks instead of repeated directory blocks. The map, guides, resources and crafting hubs now keep their practical search paths while reducing duplicate next-step language.
Thursday, August 13, 2026
Continued the homepage cleanup so the main entry page reads less like a repeated template and more like a maintained guide desk. The pass kept the useful route, resource and problem-entry paths while trimming repeated site-explanation blocks and making the recommended pages more tied to real player searches.
Wednesday, August 12, 2026
Continued the heading cleanup across outpost, research, flax, farming-transition, hauling-target and second-chain guides. These pages now describe their follow-up sections more around real bottlenecks like route payoff, wrong hauling, early-fiber support and unsafe scaling, which helps the older support library read more like hand-maintained troubleshooting pages.
Thursday, August 13, 2026
Reduced the homepage's repeated-entry feel by removing duplicate directory, quick-click and resource-card blocks that were saying the same thing in different shapes. Several repeated article support headings were also rewritten so policy pages, combat pages and building-support pages use page-specific language instead of shared template labels.
Thursday, August 13, 2026
Ran a focused homepage and map-hub quality check before the next publishing pass. Local links were checked across 117 HTML pages, same-page duplicate images were removed from the homepage and map hub, and replacement visuals were matched to route, village, storage and progression topics.
Wednesday, August 12, 2026
Continued the heading cleanup across stage-gate, expansion, winter and builder-support guides. These pages now label their follow-up sections more around readiness, overload, seasonal preparation and stalled construction, helping the progression-support library feel more like a maintained troubleshooting desk.
Wednesday, August 12, 2026
Continued the heading cleanup across material routes, early food, crafting inputs, building upgrades and starter production stations. These pages now describe their follow-up sections around route value, delivery, input pressure and build timing, making the resource-support library feel more individually maintained.
Wednesday, August 12, 2026
Ran another wording cleanup across combat prep, gear-choice and mining-readiness guides. These pages now label their follow-up sections more around readiness, bad fight recovery and mining return value, so the middle of each article reads more like a maintained troubleshooting archive and less like one repeated template.
Wednesday, August 12, 2026
Ran another wording cleanup across food recovery, hauling and crafting-chain guides. These pages now describe their follow-up sections more around hunger recovery, movement waste and broken production links, so the middle of each article feels more like a maintained help desk for real save problems and less like a reused template.
Wednesday, August 12, 2026
Ran another wording cleanup across recruitment, trust and worker-efficiency guides. These pages now label their follow-up sections more around growth risk, labor drag and support timing, so the middle of each article feels closer to a maintained problem-solving archive and less like one shared template.
Wednesday, August 12, 2026
Ran another wording cleanup across starter-base, storage, stockpile and village-layout guides. The follow-up sections on these pages now describe the next player decision more clearly, so layout and building help pages read less like shared templates and more like practical maintenance notes for real save problems.
Wednesday, August 12, 2026
Another heading cleanup pass was completed across progression, route, base, POI, outpost and villager-management guides. Older pages in these groups now use follow-up section titles that match the real player question on the page, so the middle of each article reads less like a reused layout and more like a maintained help archive.
Wednesday, August 12, 2026
Another body-heading cleanup pass was pushed across older Bellwright guides. Recruitment, hauling, build-queue, ore-order and outpost pages now use more specific follow-up section titles so the middle of each article feels less like a repeated template and more like a maintained help page.
